The New York State Legislature is at the end of its current session, but anti-gun bills still exist. A.3244A/S.68A is microstamping, and S.7822 is mandatory storage, which would require gun owners to keep their firearms under lock and key. Tom King, president of the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association, discusses the close of the session, and the bills harmful to Second Amendment rights. He notes that it is likely that neither bill will move until the next scheduled session in January. He urges NRA members to get out the vote, and to vote this fall to support gun rights.
