On this edition of Curator’s Corner, John Popp joins National Firearms Museum Senior Curator Phil Schreier to discuss the Lee Model 1895 straight-pull rifle. This rare firearm was used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps during the Spanish-American War. The rifle will be on display at the new NRA Sporting Arms Museum at the Bass Pro Shop Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri. Originally aired on Sportsman Channel Cam & Co. 3/11/13.
