Reports continue of businesses finding their bank and merchant accounts closed. They are legal businesses, but not popular with government agencies such as the Department of Justice “Operation Choke Point.” Notable among the businesses are firearm companies and online retailers. Kelly McMillan, director of operations for the McMillan Group, was told that the firearms company was no longer welcome as a Bank of America customer. McMillan discusses the issue, and what their company did about it – found a better, smaller bank, and created McMillan Merchant Solutions, a credit card processing and financial company.
