The 18-page law focuses on the message of “universal background checks,” without fully explaining the impact on common transfers of firearms, including lending and gifts. He notes that the NSSF’s campaign FixNICS would address background checks in a practical way. Originally aired on the Sportsman Channel 9/02/14.
